Crisis at Christmas
Traditional Carols in London support Crisis at Christmas
While we're all having a great time singing at the carols sessions it's very easy to forget that there are many people for whom Christmas is not a time of joy and who will be spending Christmas alone and on the streets.
With this in mind, since 2017 we have adopted Crisis at Christmas as our chosen charity. To date we have been able to provide almost £9,000 to help get people off the streets. Collections to date:
Royal Oak - 2023 = £466.00 (Total from 2017 to 2022 = £1304.04) Grand total to date = £1770.04
Victoria Inn - 2023 = £136.99 ( Total from 2017 to 2022 = £367.31) Grand total to date = £504.30
Bricklayers Arms - 2023= £262.01 ( Total from 2017 to 2022 = £992.06) Grand total to date = £1254.07
There were no session at either The Victoria or Bricklayers Arms in 2021.
Our 2020 collection which was via Just Giving reached £1200. Thanks to all who donated.
2023 collections update. The grand total of £865.00 was topped up to £1000 with profits from carol book sales and further personal donations and that total will, once again, be matched by the generosity of one of our regular singers and also matched by his company making a total donation this year of £3000!
